Scout and Joker came to Valor Ranch together in 2020.
Joker was recently diagnosed with ringbone and is no longer rideable, which is heartbreaking since he is so young. He is now our largest mascot!
Ginger was born on March 16 and is a Spotted Draft. We adopted her, Blue and Honey from an amazing organization called Last Chance Corral when she was only two weeks old!
Blue was born on March 23. His breed is unknown, but we do know that he is gaited. We adopted him when he was only a week old. He and his sisters are well on their way to being our future generation of therapy animals for our injured service members.
Honey was born on March 16 and we have no idea what she is, but she's fast! All three of these babies are called "nurse mare" foals, and they are sadly just a byproduct of a horrible industry.
This little one is the ranch's smallest mascot. She is always doing something to make people smile! Full of antics and brings life to the ranch!
This boy is the son of the founder's (Paige) first horse, Dusty. Dusty lived to be 31, but she had gone blind several years before she passed away. Nick never left her side throughout those years and always guided her in the right direction.
These two have been there and done it all. They are both a huge part of the therapy program because they are always honest, dependable and predictable.
Opie is one of our sweet barn cats!
These two...! This is what they looked like when we bought the ranch in 2016. Just as wild as can be! They have been sheared since, but need consistent attention.
